Dana L. Browning

Dana L. (Vaught) Browning, 43, Greentown, died at 5:50 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 at Windsor Estates Health & Rehab Center in Kokomo.  She was born in Kokomo on February 26, 1967 to Jack and Shirley (Collard) Vaught.  On March 10, 1985 she met Chris Browning and they married on August 25, 1990.

Dana was a homemaker and a homeschool mom.  She was active with Mt. Gilead Baptist church.  She graduated from Tri-Central in 1985 and later from Ivy Tech with an accounting degree.  Dana was fun loving and always on the go.

Dana is survived by her husband, Chris; four children, Jenna Browning and friend Steven Adleman, Sara Browning, Deanna Stevens and Owen Browning, all of Greentown; her mother, Shirley Vaught of Greentown, two brothers, Adam Vaught, Cape Coral, Florida and Brian Vaught in Indiana, and special friends Rhonda and Walt Janusckiewicz. 

Her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 13, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 4439 E. 406 South, Hemlock with Pastor Steve Gollner presiding.  Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, and also on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to the Dana Browning Memorial Fund c/o Encompass Credit Union, 201 N. Main Street, Tipton, Indiana, 46072 to help her family with medical and funeral expenses.

Dana was well loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
