Khris Lee Dickover

Khris Lee Dickover, 61 of Tipton died at 4:50 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis.  He was born on April 20, 1952 in Tipton to Robert & Evelyn (Wann) Dickover.

Khris was a car mechanic for 20 years.  He also was a Radio Engineer, Musician, and Projectionist at the Diana Theatre.  Khris was a graduate of Tipton High School and Vincennes University, Life Scout in the Boy Scouts, music instructor at Tipton High School, member of Kemp United Methodist Church, Ham Radio operator with the call sign KAØTXT, and a member of the Tipton Community Band.

He is survived by a son, Khristofer Robert Dickover and wife Melissa, Goose Creek South Carolina; his mother, Evelyn Dickover, Lafayette; two brothers, Melvin Dickover and wife Sandra, Kensington, Maryland, Neal Dickover and wife Cathy, Lafayette; two grandchildren, Liliana and Delilah Dickover.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Monday, June 17, at Kemp United Methodist Church with Rev. Phil Collier presiding. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church.  Arrangements were made through Young-Nichols Funeral Home.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Tipton High School Band, 619 S Main St  Tipton, Indiana  46072.
