Ramona M. Larson

Ramona Marie Larson, 84 of Michigan and formerly of Tipton died peacefully with her son and daughter-in-law at her side Thursday, June 26, 2014. She was born in St. Paul Minnesota on March 2, 1930 to George and Marie (Morisette) Latendresse.  She married Ralph Harry Larson on May 11, 1970.  He preceded her in death on September 4, 1998.

She was a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph for 22 years from 1948 through 1970, teaching in the local area.  Ramona enjoyed calligraphy, drawing and painting.  A devoted wife and mother, she gave love and joy unconditionally and freely and was loved by many friends, students, Nuns, relatives and care staff.

She is survived by one son, Phil Larson and wife Suzanne of Fenton, Michigan, siblings: Joann Bosi, Morresville, SC; Shirley Latendresse, Greely, CO; Cecelia Latendresse, Kansas City, KS; Mary Urban (Daniel), Ft. Wayne; and John Latendresse (Susie) of Denver, CO; two grandchildren: Samuel and Matthew Larson, several nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass will occur Monday, June 30 at 11:00 am. at St. Jude Catholic Church in Ft. Wayne.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the church, prior to the mass.

Burial at the St. Joseph Cemetery at the St. Joseph Center, Tipton will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
