Audrey Alice Molden
Audrey Alice Molden, 69, Apollo Beach, Florida, died at 7:55 a.m.
Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at Lifepath Hospice House in Sun City,
Florida. She was born Mar. 10, 1940, in Westmoreland, Tennessee,
the daughter of O.S. and Audrey Hester Gibbs. On Feb. 2, 1968, she
married Robert L. Molden, who survives.
Alice was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Kempton.
She retired from the medical field as an x-ray technician having
worked for Tipton County Memorial Hospital and Riverview
Hospital for 40 years. She was a former member of First Baptist
Church in Tipton and was presently a member of the First Baptist
Church of East Bay in Riverview, Florida. Her interests included
traveling, reading, and cross-stitching.
Survivors include one daughter, Kelly and husband Aaron Lewis,
Tampa, Florida; two stepsons, Robert Dean Molden Sorg, Kokomo and
David W. Molden, Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Stephanie
Lewis, Megan Lewis, and Rebecca Lewis, Tampa, Florida and
Christopher Sorg and Elizabeth Sorg, Elwood; two sisters, Francis
Dorsam, Frankfort and Cathy Gibbs, Tipton; five brothers, Fred
Gibbs, Largo, Florida, Eugene Gibbs, Brandon, Florida, Jerry
Gibbs, Sharpsville, Donald Gibbs, Sharpsville, and David Gibbs,
Tipton.
Services are 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13 at National
Cremation & Burial Society, 308 E. College Ave., Ruskin, Florida.
Friends may also call on Monday, October 26, from
5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton.
