Linda F. Pagel

Linda Faye Foster Pagel, 58, Russiaville, died at 12:57 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2007 at her residence after a one-year illness.  She was born July 24, 1948 in Lucy, Tennessee to Cecil Edward & Ruby Lee (Tate) Foster and lived in Tetersburg from 1949-1967 and then in the Kokomo area since 1968.  On June 20, 1987 she married Donald William Pagel and he survives.

She was the volunteer coordinator at Southerncare Kokomo and had taught at Tri-Central Elementary School for 21 years.  Linda was a member of Brookside Free Methodist Church and Delta Kappa Gamma Society.  She enjoyed genealogy research for many years.

Survivors include her husband Don; one son, Adam James Carter, Indianapolis; one daughter, Sara Beth Pagel at home; two brothers, Donald Edward Foster, Indianapolis and Cletis Ray Foster, Zionsville; one sister, Shirley Lee Foster, West End, North Carolina.

Her funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. (Central time) Wednesday, January 17 at the Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Avenue, LaPorte, Indiana, with Pastor Doug Benham presiding.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, east of LaPorte.  Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. (Eastern time) Tuesday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton.
