Darcy J. Pierce

Darcy J. Pierce, 39 of Windfall died at 1:26 a.m. on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born June 18, 1972 in Tipton to Stephen Lee and Jody Ray (Land) Pierce.

Darcy graduated from Tri-Central High School and then went on to graduate from Indiana Business College.  She worked for Pierce Family Farms.  Her love for the farm started at the young age of 9 when she started driving tractors.  She never lost her love for the farm.

Darcy was a member of the Windfall Christian Church where she sang in the choir.  She loved her friends and family, especially spoiling her nieces and nephews.

Darcy is survived by her parents of Windfall; long time companion, Chris Smay, Windfall; two sisters, Sunny Stout and husband Blake, Elwood, Angel Dailey and husband Trent, Marion; grandfather, Maurice Pierce, Elwood; nieces and nephews, Chance Mason, Ashlyn Stout, and Roman Dailey.

Her funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 30 at the Windfall Christian Church, with Rev. Carl Roudebush presiding.  Entombment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall.  Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. on Friday, all at the church. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Windfall Christian Church, 211 N. Independence Street, Windfall, Indiana  46076.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, is in charge of the arrangements.

Darcy was dearly loved by her family and friends.
