Anna K. Quigley

Anna K. Quigley, 88, Tipton, died at 8:10 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Tipton Hospital.  She was born February 28, 1918, in Tipton to Walter B. & Frances V. (Berryman) Kinder.  On May 8, 1944, she married Richard B. Quigley and he died March 4, 1985.

She was a member of the Rosary Society at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, American Legion, Friends of the Library and an Associate Member of the Sisters of St. Joseph. She was a Registered Nurse and served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Anna is survived by two sons, Stephen K. Quigley, Bloomington and David B. Quigley and his wife Lois, Tipton; four grandsons, Matthew, Daniel, John and Richard Quigley; three great-grandchildren, Lucy June, Samuel Matthew, and Grace Elizabeth Quigley.

There will be a memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17 at St. John the Baptist Church, 340 Mill Street, Tipton, with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton, at a later date.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of  the arrangements.
