Richard E. "Dick" Rubush

Richard E. "Dick" Rubush, 83 of Tipton died at 3:12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Trinity, Florida. He was born December 9, 1931 in Tipton to George & Roxie (Goodnight) Rubush.  Dick married Sally Bath on January 23, 1953 and she survives.

He was a tool maker at Chrysler Transmission in Kokomo for 33 years before retiring in 1990.  Dick graduated from Jefferson Township, Class of 1949.  He also  served in the United States Army, 11th Airborne Division.

Dick is survived by his wife Sally, Tipton; three daughters, Deborah Blubaugh and husband Larry, Frankfort, Theresa Garman and husband Larry, Tipton, Kathy Leininger and husband Mark, Tipton; a brother Billy Joe Rubush and wife Darlene, Tipton; eight grandchildren, Melanie (Mike) Weaver Cincinnati,  Ohio, Maribeth (David) Leeson, Tipton, Jeff (Amanda) Garman, Webster, New York, Bryce Garman, Tipton, Joni Pearson, Tipton, Angie Leininger, Bunker Hill, Clark Leininger, Tipton, Grace Leininger, Tipton and 16 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Dick will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25 at Fairview Cemetery in Tipton with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman  presiding.  Arrangements were handled by Young-Nichols Funeral Home.

The family has requested no flowers for the service.
