Sherry (Zehner) Schlieper

Sherry (Zehner) Schlieper, aged 87, of Nokomis, Florida, formerly of Tipton, died Monday, May 19, 2014 at Salem Place Nursing and Rehab Center in Conway, Arkansas. She was born September 17, 1926 in Tipton to John & Edith (Mood) Roseberry.

Sherry graduated from Stephens College for Women and Butler University. She was a homemaker for many years and later traveled the state as a Career Consultant for the Indiana State Library in Indianapolis mentoring high school students.  Sherry was a member of the West Street Christian Church,  the Tri-Kappa philanthropic sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta social sorority and various Bridge Clubs.  She was a great lover of the Arts and later in life became an accomplished painter.
 
Sherry is survived by three children, Laurel and her husband Greg; Kris and her husband Mike; Bill and his wife Theresa; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one brother, John Roseberry.
 
Visitation will be from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19 at Young Nichols Funeral Home, with  graveside services following at Fairview Cemetery.
