Lorrine Shubert

Lorrine Shubert, 75, Sharpsville, died at 1:27 a.m.  Friday, August 11, 2006  at Howard Regional Health System in Kokomo.  She was born in Roda, Virginia on September 29, 1930 to Cline and Carrie (Johnson) Yoakum.  She married Daniel Shubert on February 11, 1950, and he survives.

Lorrine was a housewife and had attended Sharpsville Fellowship Baptist Church and Indian Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Clark Shubert (Melva), Round Rock, Texas; and Bruce Shubert, Lafayette; two daughters: Cindy Hancock, Tipton; and Sandy Warner, (husband Jim Lee) of Lebanon;  11 grandchildren, Candice, Cody, Jeremy, Kevin, Julie, Eve, Carrie, Cliff, Michele, Samantha and Brandon;  two brothers, Ronnie Yoakum, Fairmount and Cline Yoakum Jr., Orlando, Florida; two sisters, Della Mae Ely, Lexington, Kentucky and Madeline Griggs, Roanoke, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton with Rev. Lawrence Hufhand presiding.  Visitation will be Monday 1 hour prior to the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
