Steven Lewis Sink

Steven Lewis Sink, 65 of Indianapolis died at 8:40 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.  He was born April 16, 1946 in Elwood to Ralph Lewis & Rachel Marie (Rosenthal) Sink.  On November 11, 1967 he married Marilyn K. Olmsted and she survives.

He was retired in 2004 from Raytheon where he worked as an electronics technician on radar and guidance for "F" series aircraft.  He was a 1964 graduate of Lawrence Central High School and was a member of the Heather Hills Baptist Church. Steven served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; one son, Shawn Lewis Sink, Indianapolis; his mother Rachel Sink of Florida; two sisters, Karen Ryan, Florida and Laura Ryan, California; two brothers, Gary V. Sink and Dennis Sink, both of Florida; one granddaughter, Kaylee N. Sink.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Cosby presiding.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton, with military honors.  Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
