Aline Tolle

Aline Tolle, 92 of Windfall died at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton.  She was born September 25, 1919 in Taylor Township of Howard County to Millard L. & Flossie Bell (Scott) Hollingsworth.  On March 20, 1938 she married Maurice E. Tolle and he preceded her in death on January 6, 1987.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Marsh Supermarket.  She was a graduate of Union Township School in Howard County.  Aline was a member of the Hazel Dell Friends Church, the Ladies Aide Society and was a church pianist.  She belonged to the Tipton County Home Economics Club and was in a musical trio for many years, the Hazel Dell Trio.

Aline is survived by six children, Judith Marlene Alberson and husband Eugene, Noblesville, Darcel Tolle and wife Mary, Dexter, Michigan, Karen Sharp, Concord, North Carolina, Harold Tolle and wife Linda, Tipton, Darwin Tolle and wife Phyllis, Greenfield and Blaine Tolle and wife Beverly, Kokomo.

She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Vonda Alberson and husband Kevin McCaffrey, Margaret Taha and husband Issam, Brian Alberson and wife Jennifer, Chris Chitty and wife Carole, Chuck Chitty and wife Carla, Mark Tolle and wife Angie, Tisha Martin and husband Todd, Jeff Tolle and wife Amanda, Jason Tolle and wife Kristin, Jonathan Tolle and wife Lana, Beth Samons and husband Chad and Seth Tolle; 30 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. 

Aline is also survived by one brother, Dwight Hollingsworth in Florida.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Denzil Hollingsworth; two sisters, Icaphine Dillinger, Rose Stoner; two grandchildren; and one son-in-law Jim Sharp

Aline's funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at the Hazel Dell Church.  Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall.  Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, and from 12:00 noon until the time of service Saturday at the church.
