Teddy H. Wesco

Teddy H. Wesco, 86, Tipton, died at 2:18 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Tipton Hospital.  He  was born June 15, 1924 in Marion, Indiana to James & Mary (Lobdell) Wesco.  On April 26, 1947 he married Idalene L. Williams  and she preceded him in death on August 23, 2004.

He was the co-owner along with his wife of the Tipton Dry Cleaners from 1957-1993.  Teddy was a member of the  Masonic Lodge as a 32nd Degree Mason and the Murat Shrine.  He was also a member of the American legion for 50 years. Teddy attended the Tetersburg Christian Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He is survived by one daughter Ronda Henry, Tipton; one granddaughter, Cherissa Vandevender husband Bill, Tipton; one great-granddaughter, Cheriah Vandevender; one sister Bonnie Evans, Hobe Sound,  Florida.

Along with his wife, Teddy was preceded in death by one daughter Terri Kay Wesco, two sisters Marylou White, Linda Smith, and three brothers, James, Robert and Larry Wesco.

His funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 23 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton with Rev. Lee Mangold presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, where military honors will be preformed.  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 6:30 p.m.
