Antoinette "Toni" Marie Wood

Antoinette “Toni” Marie Wood graduated to heaven on Saturday, December 8, 2012 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.  Toni was born in Tipton, Indiana on January 6, 1964.  She later graduated from Tipton High School in 1982.  That same year, she married her high school sweetheart William David Wood.  Toni and David remained in Tipton where they raised their family.

Toni was a member of Rock Prairie Baptist Church where she was a walking testimony of God’s grace.  She had a miraculous impact on many people in her family, church, and community.

Toni had two main loves of her life; Jesus her Savior and her family.

Toni is survived by her husband, David and two children Alicia M. Lynch and husband Mike of Arcadia, and Weston D. Wood of Tipton.  She is also survived by her mother, Patty Cline and father Robert Walsh and wife Kathy, both of Tipton.  Her siblings Sherry Wallace and husband Steve of Atlanta, John Walsh of Tipton, and Richard Walsh and wife Shelly of Tipton also survive.  Toni had two granddaughters, Vivian and Hazel Lynch and a grandson expected in March; several in-laws, mother-in-law and step father-in-law Mary and Gaylord Hall of Tipton, father-in-law Floyd Jr. Wood of Tipton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Tammy and Brian Menefee, Michigantown, Cindy and Luke Payne, Dayton, Indiana, and Lawrence and Brenda Hall of Michigan.  Toni was blessed with a large extended family of whom she loved very much. 

Toni’s funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 12 at Rock Prairie Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Carr presiding.  The burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, all at the church. 

Memorials may be made to the Tipton County Relay for Life, 2723 S. Albright Road, Kokomo, Indiana, 46902 or Rock Prairie Baptist Church, 421 Ash Street Tipton, Indiana, 46072.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
