Brian Schwoerer, age 58, of Carmel/Noblesville, Indiana, was born into Eternal life on Thursday, January 19, 2017 surrounded by his family. Brian was a loving and devoted father to his four children, Sarah (Albert Hidalgo) Schwoerer, Kathryn (Travis) Wolf, Emily (Michael) Malatt and Benjamin Schwoerer, of whom he was exceedingly proud. He is also survived by his fiancé, Martha Longfellow, sister Eileen Brey, sisters-in-law Patricia Schwoerer and Jean Schwoerer and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Allen, Thomas, and Jim and his brother-in-law Jim Brey.

Brian was born on April 6, 1958, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, son of the late Erwin and Edna (Neuhaus) Schwoerer. He was a graduate of Roncalli High School in Manitowoc, class of 1976, and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Brian had a successful career in medical sales and loved to show off his exceptional cooking/grilling skills, tend to his vegetable garden, and cheer on the Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand – 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Fr. Michael Warden. Lunch will be served downstairs at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand immediately following the service. Brian will then be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand from 9:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, until time of Mass. Brian had a smile that lit up the room, a great sense of humor and was loved by all who met him. His four children brought him incredible happiness, unending pride and were his greatest achievement. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
