  1. To Jim:

I am so sorry to hear about your father. Pam and I send along our deepest sympathies with hope that your reflection on his life was of one fully lived. You were fortunate to have him in your life for such a long, long time. With sincerest regards, Orcenith and Pamalee Smith

    1. Orcenith and Pamalee,
This is better than a bouquet of flowers. Thank you for these very kind words. Coming from you, they carry a special meaning. I was at the rehearsal when you just came back from Ohio to make the Phil rehearsal after you lost your father. You somehow held it together to get us through the music for that concert. I won’t ever forget that night because I saw a person with such inner strength and control and yet deal with current responsibilities. I hope I can model that courage on Thursday.

Thank You from Jim, Linda, and daughter Katy Hicks.

    1. Ed, Nancy and others,
Please accept my deepest thanks. Your kind words are an affirmation that goodness and caring help us all make Music with HEART.

Jim, I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Your dad lived a long life and saw many changes throughout his 99 years. He gave his all and now, May He Rest Peacefully!

Emory and Marjory were favorites of ours when they were active in Northern Area and Western Yearly Meeting of the Friends Church, attending gatherings of the United Society of Friends Women and Quaker Men. Through the years following, it was always good to encounter them on occasion when we would be dining out on visits to Tipton. They had a good life together in service to their Master, while touching the lives of others in their family and their wider community.
