Glen “John” Burnett, 73 of Tipton County died at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Premier Healthcare of Sheridan. He was born on January 31, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to John Wesley & Marion Elizabeth (Wobrock) Davis. He married Karen Head and she preceded him in death on September 28, 2016.

John was a former Business Manager for the Tipton Moose. He attended grade school in Detroit, later transferring to Hall of Devine Child, Catholic Military School after his mother died in 1953. John graduated from there and enrolled in Howe Military Academy, after the death of his father in 1956, to continue his education.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 21 at St. John’s Cemetery, Tipton with Rev. Dennis Goth presiding. Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
