Jason W. Bartley, 37, of Tipton died on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at his residence.  He was born in Tipton on April 25, 1980 to William D. Bartley, Jr. & Dee Dee (Elliott) Bartley. He had previously lived in Sarasota, Florida.

Jason was the owner of A Happy Rescreen company in Florida.  He was a graduate of Tipton High School in the Class of 1999.  He enjoyed scuba diving, and riding 4-wheelers, his Razor and Arctic Cat as well as go-carts and motorcycles.

Jason is survived by his mother and step-father, Dee Dee & Richard “Dick” Tragesser of Tipton; one sister, Felicia Bartley, Tipton; one step-sister, Lisa Tragesser and one step-brother, Andy Tragesser and wife Michelle, Tipton; his grandfather, William D. Bartley, Sr. and several cousins.  Jason was preceded in death by his father, William D. Bartley, Jr. and his grandparents Reita Bartley, Maxine Elliott and William “Bill” Elliott.

Funeral services for Jason will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 23 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Dennis Goth presiding and burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions in Jason’s honor may be made to Tipton County Relay for Life c/o American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46278.

    Our family grieves along with you. No words can help but hopefully our thoughts and prayers can. We thought so much of Jason. WHAT A WONDERFUL YOUNG MAN!
