Jeffrey L. Head, 58 of rural Tipton County died at 5:16 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at his residence. He was born on December 28, 1957 in Tipton to Robert N. & Betty M. (Beck) Head.

Jeff worked for BRS Mechanical as a plumber. He attended St. John the Baptist School and graduated from Tipton High School in 1976. He had been in the construction business all his adult life. Jeff was also an avid Indianapolis 500 race fan.

He is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Head and fiancé Josh Nelson, Tipton, Emily Head, Tipton; three sisters, Karen Head and John Burnett, Sheridan, Terry Pasley, Tipton, Becky Small and husband Jeff, Tipton; a granddaughter Evy Marie Nelson; and his former wife, Tina (Tuck) Head. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Betty Head and a brother, Nicky Head.

Funeral services for Jeff will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 9 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Goth presiding with interment to follow in St. John's Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
