Kay Davenport, 74 of Tipton died at 4:55 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton. She was born on December 12, 1941 in Kankakee, Illinois to Glenn E. and Virginia (Meyers) Newcom.

Kay retired from PNC Bank and was a member of East Union Christian Church.

She is survived by a son, Brad Davenport and wife Betty, Sharpsville; a daughter, Angela Davenport, Tipton; step-father, Bill Ayres; five brothers, Kenneth Newcom and wife Cheri, Cicero, Steve Newcom and wife Jill, Naperville, Illinois, Tom Newcom and wife Anita, Winchester, Indiana, Jeff Newcom and wife Kim, Tipton, Randy Newcom and wife Terri, Kempton; a step-brother, Billy Ayres, Indianapolis; two step-sisters, Jenny Reid, Michigan, Nancy Jaggi, Michigan; a granddaughter, Ashley Dunn and husband Tim, Noblesville; three great-grand-children, Noah, Emma, and Isaiah Dunn.

There will be a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at Union Cemetery, Hamilton County. Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 noon Saturday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home.
