Mary Ann Doggett
Mary Ann Doggett, 91 of Tipton died at 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born in Tipton County on January 5, 1926 to William R. & Iverna (Luttrell) Illges. She married Joseph Doggett on November 22, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 23, 1993.
Mary Ann was the bookkeeper at Ross & Doggett Body Shop which she and her husband owned. She was a member of West Street Christian Church and had enjoyed sewing and crochet. Mary Ann was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for over 60 years.
She is survived by one son, Kent Doggett, two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by one son, Dale Doggett, one brother, Max Illges and one sister, Doris Smith.
A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25 at Fairview Cemetery. Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

I was truely saddened to hear about Mary Ann’s passing. She was a great friend of our family, my Mom’s dearest friend, and like an aunt to me. She will be missed.
Very sorry to hear of Mary Ann’s death. She was a wonderful lady and a great friend to the family. I’ll miss playing scrabble with her.
So sorry we will miss Aunt Mary Ann’s services. We will miss her stories, her sweet laugh and smiles, and her candy. She always loved to give and get hugs from our grandkids, as she commented on how tall the were getting. We will miss her dearly. Steve and Amy
