Becky Sue Monday

Becky Sue Monday, 79 of Tipton was born on February 13, 1947 in Indianapolis to Janet (Hughes) Johnson. Becky passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026 at The Waters of Tipton. She married Michael Monday on June 6, 1964 and they shared 61 years of marriage.

Becky had worked for several years at the Veterans of Foreign Wars office in Indianapolis while helping many veterans. She was a member of the Kempton Christian Church and spent her free time camping with Mike.

Survivors include her husband Mike; one son, Chris Monday and wife Adina of Kokomo; two sisters, Carol Frost and Nancy Dunnuck; She also has three grandsons, Devin Monday, Dylan Monday and Logan Monday as well as one great-granddaughter, Lyla Monday. Becky was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Peretti and one sister, Peggy Duryee.
