Betty L. (Kemper) Beach

Betty L. BeachBetty L. Beach, 91 of Tipton died at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Miller's Merry Manor.  She was born December 17, 1924 in Liberty Township, Tipton County to William N. & Nellie M. (Ramseyer) Kemper.  On June 28, 1946 she married Verl Beach and he preceded her in death on February 4, 2003.She was a homemaker and also worked at J. C. Penney for 18 years.  Betty was a member of the Hazel Dell Friends Church in Windfall.She is survived by a son, Jeff Beach and wife Tracy, Tipton; a stepson, Jerry Beach and wife Carol, Tipton; a brother, George Kemper, Noblesville; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a stepson, Jack Beach; a sister, Dorothy Wilburn and a brother, Ned Kemper.Betty's funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with David Freelan presiding.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from Noon until time of the service on Friday.Memorial contributions in Betty's honor may be made to either the Tipton County Boys & Girls Club, 341 W.
