Beulah Welch

Beulah (Witt) Welch passed from this life into her home on Saturday, August 9, 2025. She was born on May 14, 1933 in Rose Hill, VA to Schley and Amelia (Campbell) Witt. On August 4 of 1950, Beulah married Glen Welch. They enjoyed 65 years of companionship and love until Glen’s passing on January 5, 2016.

Beulah worked for Delco Electronics until retiring in 1985. After retiring, Beulah was able to immerse herself in following and worshiping her Lord and Savior with her faith family at Beech Grove Baptist Church in Tipton, IN. There, she found her passion in supporting and growing the faith of the congregation’s children through her ministries of assisting in Sunday and Bible Schools. She prayed for nothing more than God’s riches and blessings for all those she served.

Beulah also felt one of the greatest blessings she received was having Glen for her husband, who’s family welcomed her with open arms and provided years of love and friendship.

Aside from her parents and Glen welcoming her home, Beulah was preceded in death by her brothers Herman, Hershel, Harold, Grover, Cecil, Frank, Roy and Ronnie, and her sisters Pearl Foster and Grace Witt and brother-in-law Bob Leichet.

She is survived by her brother Robert (Darlene) Witt and sister Linda Leichet.

Services are planned for Thursday, August 14, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton. The family will receive friends beginning at noon Thursday with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Beulah’s earthly remains will be laid to rest next to Glen at Kempton Cemetery following the services.
