Charley R. “Rick” Collins

Charley Richard “Rick” Collins, 62 of Arcadia passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 24, 1953 in Hancock County, Tennessee to Lester & Flora Mae Collins. Rick leaves behind his wife Mary C. “Molly” Mattingly who he married on April 20, 1987.

Rick was the owner of CRC Construction. He loved being outdoors: hunting, fishing, and gardening. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, as well as a good football game.

Survivors besides his wife Molly include five daughters, April Morgan and husband Ryan, Indianapolis, Megan Green and husband Joe, Noblesville, Ericka Spoonire, Indianapolis, Chelsea Linville, Greensburg, and Nikki Collins, Greensburg.

He is also survived by two sisters, Fannie Mae Manis, Morristown, Tennessee and Georgia Tempest, Greensburg; one brother, Fred Collins, Greensburg. Nephews include Steve, Jason and Joshua Tempest; several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Elvis Collins, Ray Collins and Hubert Collins and one sister, Edith Collins.

A memorial service for Rick will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. that day.
