C.T. “Charles T.” Worley

June 20, 1938 — October 28, 2014

C.T. "Charles T." Worley, 77 of Sharpsville died Friday, October 31, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 13, 1936 in Clarksville, Georgia to William Joshua and Lois Whitworth (Welborn) Worley. On November 11, 1959 he married Janice K. Conaway and she survives,

C.T. was a machine repairman at Delco, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed fishing, old classic cars, classic trucks, and gardening. C.T. was a member of the Freemasons and Shriners. He also loved spending time with his grandkids. C.T. served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1957.

He is survived by his wife Janice; two children, Tom Worley and wife Kelly, Sharpsville, Angie Cunningham and husband Rod, Kempton; two brothers and two sisters, Morris Worley and wife Glenda, Swain Worley, Maxine Nicholson and husband Danny, Elmina Gosnell, all from Clarksville, Georgia.

C.T. is also survived by seven grandchildren, Joshua Worley and wife Liz, Justin Worley and wife Kirsten, Jessica Jameson and husband Kurtis, Kayla Cunningham, Jennifer Johnson and husband Danny, Andrea Hattery and husband Jason, Mallory Keith and husband Patrick; ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Worley, Garrison Worley and three sisters, Doris Gragg, Elizebeth Whitworth, and Gertrude Kinney.

His funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 4 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home. Burial with Military rites will follow in Sharpsville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m.
