Cynthia J. Richardson

Cynthia J. Richardson, 69 of Tipton passed away at home on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Cynthia was born on May 22, 1954 in Kokomo to Durrell & Mildred Louise (Boone) Rawls.

She had worked at McDonald’s in Carmel, retiring in 2020. Her free time now allowed her to attend garage sales and flea markets; always looking for a bargain. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially watching Tipton Little League baseball games.

Cynthia is survived by her two children, Christopher Hight and Amanda Hight, both of Tipton; a brother, James Rawls of Kokomo and five grandchildren, Madelyn, Samantha, Nathan, Lexie and Grayson. She was preceded in death by one sister, Judith Steele.

A funeral service for Cynthia will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Dane Hight presiding. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday.

A committal service and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 2 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.
