Dennis A. HoodDennis A. Hood, 49, Sharpsville, died at 2:57 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born January 13, 1957 in Tipton to MC & Reba Sue (Butcher) Hood.  On June 8, 1985, he married Lori Lees and she survives.He was a member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene in Tipton and also served in the U.S. Navy from 1975-1979.Survivors besides his wife Lori include his mother, Reba Hood, Noblesville; one daughter, Emma Lee Hood and one son, Jared Allen Hood, both at home; two sisters, Dee Ann Prater, Noblesville and Lynda Turnbow, Maricopa, Arizona; one brother, Curtis Hood, Conway, South Carolina.  His father preceded him in death.His funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at 1st Church of the Nazarene, 215 E. Adams Street, Tipton, with Rev. Ron Karkosky presiding.  Burial will be in Fairview  Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 Saturday at the church.Memorial contributions may be made to a fund for his children through the funeral home, Young-Nichols Funeral Home, 216 W. Jefferson Street, Tipton, Indiana, 46072.
