Glenice G. Bergman

Glenice G. Bergman, 91 of Tipton died at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at IU Health Tipton Hospital. She was born November 11, 1921 in DeSoto, Missouri to John & Hester Elizabeth (Berry) Baker. On August 5, 1979 she married Ernie Bergman and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2008.

Glenice was a homemaker and a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Tipton. She was a volunteer at the gift shop at Tipton Hospital.

She is survived by two step-daughters, Kaye Kellay and husband Ross "Buzz", and Melissa Bergman, all of Ellicott City, Maryland, and one step-son Doug Bergman, Mt. Airy, Maryland.

She is also survived by one sister, Eunie Stafford; nephew Tim Stafford and wife Monica, niece Kim Hale and husband Jeff; great-nephews Jarren Stafford and wife Andrea, Jordan Stafford and wife Kristen, Joel Hale; great-nieces Joni Stafford and Abbi Hale, all of Tipton; two grandchildren Zachary Bergman and Alyssa Bergman.

Glenice's funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, with Rev. Robb Roloff presiding. Burial will follow in Kempton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
