Jean A Hardwick

Jean A Hardwick, 64 of Tipton and formerly of Elwood died peacefully at her residence Sunday, June 30, 2024. She was born in Tipton on June 4, 1960 to David Lloyd Dillard and Mary Catherine Scott Goodman.

Jean worked as a manager in the fast food industry, a position that kept her on her toes. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Portland, Indiana. She enjoyed relaxing with her cross stitch and deeply loved her dog Angel.

Survivors include a step daughter Toni Gibson (Matt) of South Bend, and a foster daughter Heather (Justin) of Texas. Siblings include Tori Hearn (Jarrod) of Tipton, Jonnah Harden of Kentucky and Tom Scott of Tipton. Jean has four grandchildren, Trace Gibson, Bradley Hardwick, Breanna Baldaulf and Melody Gibson, and nieces Ashley Giovene, Kaitlyn Hearn and Tristan Plake.

Jean was preceded in death by a son Bradley Hardwick and a sister Jane Ferraro.

Funeral services will be on Friday, July 5, at 12:00 Noon at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Steve Brown presiding. Burial will follow at Park View Cemetery in Alexandria. Visitation will also be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
