Jeffrey N. Grimme

Jeffrey N. GrimmeJeffrey Neil Grimme, 50, Sharpsville, died at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at his home.  He was born August 17, 1957 in Tipton, the son of Meredith L. and Joyce A. (Smith) Grimme.  Jeff attended school at Bona Vista and was later employed as a production worker by Bona Vista until he became ill earlier this year.  He attended Liberty Baptist Church.Survivors include his father, Meredith, and step-mother, Lois S. Grimme; two sisters, Carol J. Railey and her husband, William, of Russiaville, IN, Susan G. Phillips and her husband, Terry, of Shelbyville, IN; two step-brothers, Jeffrey T. Simms, Ricky D. Simms and his wife, Michele, of Kokomo, IN and one step-sister, Lisa D. Wylie and her husband, Michael, of Indianapolis, IN; seven nephews, David Railey and his wife, Hannah, William Railey, Christopher Simms, Darrin Simms, Jacob Simms, Clayton Wylie and Kory Green; seven nieces, Lauren Heller and her husband, Derek, Caitlin Phillips, Meghan Wylie, Amanda Wylie, Brooke Simms, Ellie Simms and Emma Simms; three great-nephews, Brogan and Simon Heller and Finnegan Railey.  Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce A. Grimme, and his grandparents, Robert and Wilma Grimme and Reno and Ollie Smith.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, 216 W. Jefferson Street, Tipton, with Revs. Bob and Ruth Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 30.Memorial contributions may be made to Bona Vista Programs, Inc. or VNS-Howard Regional Hospice.
