John E. Bath, Jr.John E. Bath, Jr., 84 of Tipton died Monday, September 1, 2014 at his residence.  He was born March 19, 1930 in Tipton to John E. "Ed" Bath, Sr. & Lucy (Stitt) Bath.  He married Joan Stroup on November 10, 1954 and she survives.John was a Postal Supervisor, retiring in 1985.  He loved gardening, fishing and enjoying nature.  John served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1952-53.Survivors besides his wife Joan include one son, John E. Bath III and wife Rebecca, Irvine, California; one daughter, Juliana Hutter and husband Bob, Bayfield, Colorado; four grandchildren, Alexandria Bath, Victoria Bath, Peter Bath and wife Kaite, and Alicia Lovejoy.  He was predeceased by two brothers.Funeral services for John will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Christopher Shocklee presiding.  Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Tipton County Foundation, P.O.
