Kenneth R. Gipson

Kenneth R. GipsonKenneth R. Gipson, 70 of Las Vegas, Nevada died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in Las Vegas.  He was born January 10, 1941 in Moss, Tennessee to George & Roxie (Green) Gipson and they preceded him in death.Ken retired in 2007 after 35 years in the gaming industry having worked in Atlantic City, Tahoe, Reno, Las Vegas and on cruise ships.  He served in the U.S. Air Force from December 1959 - December 1965.Ken leaves behind four brothers Lawrence, Bud (Gwen), Gene (Satin) and Tim (Brenda); two sisters Anna Johns and Becky (Joe) Brosnan; his best friend Patches and many nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life for Ken will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery with military honors presented by the Elwood VFW.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.
