Letha E. ReecerLetha E. Reecer, 93 of Tipton died at 3:00 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton.  She was born April 13, 1922 in Celina, Tennessee to Wade & Mackie (Anderson) Walker.  On June 18, 1938 she married Lonnie Reecer and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2000.She retired from Bridgestone/Firestone in Noblesville as a inspector.  Letha was a member of the Church of Christ in Tipton.She is survived by a son, Gene Reecer and wife Connie, Tipton; two grandchildren, Gina Stout and husband Bob, Tipton, Scott Reecer and wife Brenda, Tipton; two great-grandchildren, Arik and Alan Reecer; a brother, Thomas Walker, Celina, Tennessee; a sister, Fean Boles, Celina, Tennessee.  Letha was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Walker, Wade Walker, Charlie Walker; two sisters, Ruby McClerron and Nellie Schassberger.Funeral services for Letha will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 27 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Meyer presiding.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday.
