Madeline Luttrell

Madeline J. LuttrellMadeline J. Luttrell, 75 of Tipton died at 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Millers Merry Manor in Tipton.  She was born in Elwood on July 26, 1939 to Earl W. & Martha Jane (Miller) Stone.  She married Bernard "Gene" Luttrell in 1966 and he preceded her in death in 1983.Madeline worked as a nursing assistant at Tipton Hospital, retiring in 2002.  She was a former member of the 1st Baptist Church in Elwood and the Eastern Star.  Madeline enjoyed her family and spending time with her niece and nephews.Survivors include two sisters and one brother, Joanie Everling and husband Danny, Kokomo, Earline J. Arnold and husband Jerry A., Lapel and Harry "J.R." Stone and wife Debbie, Elwood; niece and nephews Lewis A. "Lew" Everling, John A. Everling, Cory and Cary Arnold, Dee Clark, Jay Stone and Shanon Stone.  Madeline is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews Genesis, Grace Lynne, Presley, Heston, Marina, Paul, Michael, Brock, Jacqueline, Kaine and Ethan.Madeline's funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Nate Warren presiding.  Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46278.
