Margaret F. CooperMargaret F. Cooper, 90, of Plainfield and formerly of Tipton died at 5:45 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015 at I.U. Health West Hospital in Avon.  She was born December 3, 1924 in Hamilton County to Clyde & Alice (Fouke) Phillips.  She married Raymond C. Cooper and he preceded her in death on September 6, 2000.Margaret was an LPN and had retired from nursing.  She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Tipton and enjoyed painting and sewing.Margaret is survived by five children, Joe Cooper and wife Mali, Plainfield, Tom Cooper, Peru, Tim Cooper and wife Rita, Tipton, Anita Cox and husband Elmer, Connersville and Danny Cooper and wife Diane, LaGrange, Georgia.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Jon and Ron Cooper, Lee Gregory, Mandy Duke, Kristy Cooper, Laura Mullen, Tony and Eric Cooper, Julie and Charity Cox and Sarah Hammett.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Becky Surface.Funeral services for Margaret will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Elmer Cox presiding.  Burial will follow in Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.  Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, Illinois, 60674.
