Marilyn A. Cage

Marilyn Ann Cage, 87 of Kokomo and former 27 year resident of Tipton died at 9:03 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at her residence.  She was born on January 20, 1932 in Tipton to John Robert & Enid L. (McGuire) Holloway.  Marilyn married Harold Leroy Cage, Jr. in 1949 and he preceded her in death on January 22, 1985.

She was a founder and member of Tri Chi Sorority since 1955.  Marilyn graduated from Tipton High School in 1950. She worked for several companies as an Executive Assistant for many years.

She is survived by her three children, Steven M. Cage, Sr., Kokomo, Cheryl E. Small and companion Mitch Sandy, Kokomo, Greg A. Cage and wife Tamara, Greentown; nine grandchildren, Cheryl D. Emmert and husband Burke, Holly N. Oldaker and husband Matt, Steven Cage Jr., Robert Small, Candy Small, Samantha Cage, Jackie Smith, Erica Smith, Taylor Prather and husband Austin; 21 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Vicki Holloway, Tipton.  She was preceded in death by a brother, John Emerson Holloway.

Marilyn’s funeral will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, May 3 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Lucien Madding presiding. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time on service on Friday.
