Marjorie Ann Rogers

Marjorie Ann Rogers, 96 of Tipton died at 5:15 a.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Tipton.  She was born in Tipton on August 28, 1920 to Leroy & Thelma (Woods) Smith.  On December 10, 1991 she married Paul Rogers and he preceded her in death in 1999.

Marjorie was a housewife and a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Tipton.  She is survived by two children, Fetchie L. Henderson, Kissimmee, Florida and Vickie Phillips, Adolphus, Kentucky; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Ty Henderson, one sister, Thelma Louise and two brothers, Leroy Smith, Jr. and Billy Smith.

Funeral services for Marjorie will be scheduled at a later date with burial to be in Fairview Cemetery.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorial contributions in Marjorie’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
