Mary Jane TudorMary Jane (Leist) Tudor, 91, born October 6, 1924 passed away peacefully April 5, 2016 in Lakeland, Florida.Jane was a graduate of Tipton High School, Depauw University and The University of Michigan with a degree in nursing.She married James R. Tudor July 12, 1947, and they located back home to Tipton to raise their family and build a business, Tudor and Yager.  Jane was active in the Kemp United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa, AAUW and a variety of Social and Bridge Clubs.Jane and Jim were avid travelers, enjoyed golf, and socializing with friends and family.  They resided in Rio Verde, Arizona and on Lake Wawasee in Syracuse, Indiana until 2012, when they went to Florida for healthcare and to be close to their daughter.Survivors include one son, James C. Tudor of Alaska, one daughter, Jody Stephenson and husband Gary, of Florida, a sister-in –law Hilda T Smith, Tipton, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Tudor, a sister Kathryn L. Biddinger and her parents Flossie F. Leist and Delbert E. Leist.A graveside service for Jane will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Gary Eberhart presiding  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Donations to Good Shepherd Hospice, 3470 Lakeland Hills Blvd, Lakeland, Florida, 33805 or the American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46278 are welcome in lieu of flowers.
