Michael D. Jackson

Michael D. Jackson, 72 of Noblesville and formerly of Tipton died at 1:55 a.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Five Star Senior Living.  Michael was born on December 13, 1946 in Elwood to Raymond Clyde & Jean Ann (Hicks) Jackson.  Michael was never married.

He retired after many years of service with the US Postal System.  Michael was a member of the West Street Christian Church in Tipton.  He served in the US Army from 1966-69.

Michael is survived by his brothers and sister, Terry Hancher, Indianapolis, Rick Hancher, Kokomo, Dick Jackson, Missouri, Rhonda Jackson, Honduras, Kathy Scott, Georgia and Diana Hinds, West Palm Beach, Florida.  He also has many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Michael was preceded in death by two sisters, Dana O’Neal and Sherry Stewart.

Graveside services for Michael will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 1 at Arcadia Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Rev. Linda McKiernan-Allen presiding.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Memorial donations in Michael’s honor may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Noblesville, Indiana, 46060.
