In loving memory of Tana Entinghe
March 17, 1945 – October 22, 2026
A beautiful life; a love that will never fade.
There are some people in this world whose light shines so brightly that it touches everyone who was fortunate to know them. Tana was one of those rare and beautiful souls. To us she was the most beautiful woman in the world, with a light brighter than anything you could ever imagine. The world may seem a little dimmer without her, but the love and light she brought into our lives will shine forever.
Tana Rahae Entinghe, known as Mim, Glamma, Babe and Silly Grandma passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2026 in Tipton at the age of 81. Raised in Alexandria, Tana spent most of her life in Tipton.
Tana was a beautiful, glamorous and fiercely devoted woman whose love for her family knew no bounds. She had an infectious laugh, a wonderful sense of humor and spirit that could light up a room. She loved shopping, tending to her flowers and decorating her home, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family.
Her family wasn’t just part of her world – but her entire world.
Tana shared 37 years with her husband David Entinghe. They built a life with many countless memories of love and laughter. Tana was an extraordinary mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. In later years Tana found a deep and abiding relationship with our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.
Her greatest legacy will always be the love she leaves behind. She leaves behind her loving husband David Entinghe; her son Rich (Tracy) Edwards and daughter Christy (Tim) Durm. She has seven grandchildren, Erika (Joe) Marschke, Marty Joseph (Meii) Edwards, Lexi (Nate) Geiger, Nicholas Thompson, Lakye (Darrick) Deeter, Alec (Kara) Hallgarth, Dakota Borders and Nicole Durm.
Tana also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild with another due in March. She was preceded in death by her parents Velma L. Strong and Richard L. Lockwood and her beloved son, Marty Edwards.
Funeral services for Tana will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Online condolences for Tana’s family may be left on her obituary page at www.young-nichols.com.
