Virginia H Law

Virginia H. Law, 80 of Tipton, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 22, 2026. She was born on September 4, 1945, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Charles R. & Alma (Jordan) Watson. On July 18, 1965 she married David H. Law and he survives. She lived a life marked by dedication, love, and a deep connection to the land.

Virginia graduated in 1963, embarking on a journey that would define her life in the quiet strength of family and rural heritage. She embraced her role as a farmer’s wife with grace and unwavering commitment, supporting the agricultural way of life that nurtured her family and neighbors alike. She was a member of East Union Christian Church.

A woman of many interests, Virginia found joy and solace in quilting and gardening—hobbies through which she expressed her creativity and patience. These pursuits not only beautified her home but also served as a testament to her nurturing spirit and attention to detail.

She is survived by her cherished family: her husband, David; her sons, Dennis Law and Daniel Law (Michelle) both of Tipton, who carry forward her legacy of hard work and integrity; her brother, Lonnie Watson and wife Carolyn of Tipton; and her sister, Linda Hoover of Tipton. Virginia was also a loving grandmother to Emily Rice (Mason) and Taylor Law, who remember her warmth and boundless kindness and great-grandchildren Kinslee and Nolan Rice.

Private funeral services will occur with burial to follow at Tetersburg Cemetery.

Virginia’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory endures in the strong family bonds she helped forge and the quiet beauty of a life well-lived. Her contributions to her family and community stand as a lasting tribute to her character and spirit.
