Dena Mae FloydDena Mae Floyd, 94 of Tipton, died at 5:35 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Miller's Merry Manor, Tipton.  She was born on August 8, 1920 in Tipton County to John & Effie Mae (Davidson) Gross.She worked at Tipton Building and Loan.  Dena was a member of Rock Prairie Baptist Church, Liberty Baptist Church in Groomsville, Order of Eastern Star in Kempton, and Rebekahs in Kempton. Dena enjoyed volunteering at Tipton Hospital and working in the Gift Shop.She is survived by her son, Keith Floyd and wife Denise, Meza, Arizona; three grandchildren, Kenbeth Floyd, Anderson, Indiana, Jodie Floyd, Brownsburg, Indiana, Matthew Floyd, Louisville, Kentucky; four great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Floyd, Anderson, Indiana.She was preceded in death by a son, Kent Floyd; three brothers, Owen Gross, Harvey Gross, Ralph Gross; five sisters, Beulah Roller, Lulah Mitzenberg, Mildred Chandler, Freda Amos, Irene Ford; and a grandson, Rob Floyd.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton with Pastor Kevin Carr presiding.  Burial will follow at Kempton Cemetery.  Visitation will also be on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to Tipton Hospital Auxiliary, 1000 South Main Street, Tipton, Indiana  46072.
