Edith Fishback

Edith FishbackEdith Fishback, 99 of Tipton died at 12:25 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton.  She was born August 5, 1914 in Tipton County to Ed & Haley (Luman) Thompson.  On January 30, 1936 she married Wilbur Fishback and he preceded her in death on January 17, 1976.Edith had worked for 17 years at Tipton County Memorial Hospital.  She was a member of the Tetersburg Christian Church and Tetersburg Cemetery Board.  She belonged to the Lady Elks, Monday Night Club, Bridge Club and Samba Club.  Edith was also preceded in death by one brother, Glen Thompson.A graveside service for Edith will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1 at Tetersburg Cemetery.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, Illinois, 60674  or the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46278.
