Joanne Libertore

JoAnne LibertoreJoAnne Libertore, 83 of Tipton died at 7:44 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Millers Merry Manor in Tipton.  She was born December 18, 1929 in Indianapolis to Wilbur S. & Irene L. (Horsley) Basey.  She married Gene Libertore on May 18, 1970 and he survives.JoAnne was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Tipton.  She had served as the Tipton Circuit Court Reporter, Tipton County Clerk and Tipton County Treasurer.Survivors besides her husband include two children, Jon DeBaun and wife Joy, Elwood, and Jennifer Kelley Adams, Leesburg, Virginia; two step-sons, Don Libertore, Shelbyville and Tony Libertore of Marengo; four grandchildren, Logan DeBaun, Griffin DeBaun, Nathan Adams and Rebekah Adams.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Audrey Dummich.No funeral services are planned.  Arrangements were handled by Young-Nichols Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions in JoAnne's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46278.
