Rita M. HeathRita M. Heath, 81 of Tipton died at 5:20 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at IU Health Tipton Hospital.  She was born in Tipton on October 4, 1932 to Bill and G. Maxine (Coppock) Jones.  She married Boyd Heath on October 20, 1951.  He preceded her in death on October 4, 1987.Rita had worked for Delco, Bud & Jody's Bottle Shop, the Tipton Cleaners and The South Pole.  She was a 1950 graduate of Tipton High School and attended West Street Christian Church in Tipton.  Rita enjoyed playing Euchre, the slots, watching sports and especially decorating her home for every holiday.Survivors include three children: Michael W. Heath, Gallatin, TN, Jeffrey A. Heath, Tipton, and Lisa Arnold (Ed Tragesser) of Tipton; three grandchildren: Jill A. Yohe, Cara (Greg) Powell, and Andrew Waid; three great-grandchildren: Ashley Heath, Brittany Heath and Aaliyah Davis; and a sister, Brenda K. Overdorf of Tipton.  She was preceded in death by one grandson, Scott Heath.Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Philabaun presiding.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.The family is appreciative of donations in her honor to assist with the burial.
