Vajen M. Moore

Vajen M. MooreVajen Moore, 72 of Tipton died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton.  She was born on May 4, 1940 in Tipton County to Allen & Mildred (Law) Conaway.  On March 27, 1959 she married Bill Moore and he survives.Vajen was a Registered Nurse at Tipton Hospital retiring in 2009.  She was a member of Heartland Church and had earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Indiana University in Kokomo.She is survived by her husband, Bill; three children, Kathy Warren, Kokomo, Mike Moore, Wisconsin, J.A. Moore Atlanta, Indiana; six grandchildren, Nichole Warren, Jeremy Moore, Samuel Moore, Michaela Moore, Drew Moore, Chloe Moore; two great-grandchildren, Jordan Moore, Hailey Parsons; and one sister, Talue Ragan, Atlanta, Indiana.  Vajen was preceded in death by one son David Moore.Vajen's funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May19, at the Heartland Church with Rev. Bill Salsbery presiding. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Saturday, all at the church.Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Ministries Building Fund, 3611 North State Road 19, Sharpsville, Indiana  46068 or the American Cancer Society, 2723 South Albright Road, Kokomo, Indiana  46902.  Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
