A Christmas Eve memory from long ago…I must have been a freshman when I babysat the first three or four of the Day kiddies while Ann/Clayton joined the Mattingly family for Midnight Mass and a gathering after. ( My brother Bob was invited by Marg.) What a sweet sight those cribs were …and all the little ones asleep!
I thought your parents were such a handsome couple.
Prayers and kind thoughts to all of you at this time of loss.

Ann was so special to me and all of her caregivers I am sure. I have shared many great memories with her over the last couple years and the love shown be each of her children was such a blessing to her. I am sure all of the family knows how much Ann loved each and every one of her children, grandchildren and great grand children.

Ann will be missed. Ann and Clayton will always have a special place in my heart. Mike started dating my sweet did Brenda in High School and I was in elementary school. They would often take me along to his home where Ann and Clayton welcomed me as if I was one of their own. I never knew what it was like to have a brother until Mike came into our life and it’s always felt like our two families became very close. Ann and Mom could sit and talk like old friends. Ann definitely touched everyone’s heart with her warm compassionate personally. May God comforte all of you during this grieving of an amazing mom, grandma and great grandma. She is now whole again and with her one true love.

So sorry to learn of Ann’s passing. She was a very sweet lady. I have wonderful memories of living next to her and Clayton on N. West St when I was young then again after I was out of high school down the street from the first time we were neighbors. Keeping all of you IN my prayers. 🙏🙏
