I’m in total shock and disbelief, in my eyes Dorinda is forever young. I was just a kid living a few houses down from her on Cass Street in Cicero when we met and as a
teenager I can remember watching her kids for her. I can still see Dorinda on that softball field, in my mind she was a professional and no one even came close to her
greatness. She had a personality that made everyone around her laugh and feel good, she didn’t know a stranger. She will be greatly missed by so many and yes I will be one.
RIP Dorinda for you are flying high as an angel now

We’re in total shock. Dorinda drove my son Trevor to school from the time he was 3 1/2 years old. She will terribly missed, she cared for the kids on her bus as if they were her own kids.
So very sorry for your family’s loss. She will be greatly missed by many.

I am so sorry to hear of Dorinda’s passing. Good friends from kindergarten on through high school. Whenever we saw one another, it was just like old home week. I won’t be able to be there because I am in Florida with my son Tom and his family. My deepest sympathy and prayers for all the family.

  5. I will always remember Dorinda as having a kind heart and a wicked sense of humor. The years we were together brought much growth to us both. She was always up for a trip out to see my grandparents who were very fond of her. She was a master camper and it never failed to rain. Her light may have become dim but she will shine bright in my heart and that of others. May the family find peace and comfort as they work their way through this great loss

Tooter, Jim and Jason, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom loved you and her grandbabies very much. I’ve known her for over 35 years playing softball and working together. She was one of the most hard working and loyal personsI have ever known. The individuals at Janus loved her. I will not be able to attend the service because I’m in Texas with my family but I will be thinking of you guys.
