Eileen Findling, 78, Windfall, passed away at 3:20 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2013 peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Lincoln, Indiana on June 14, 1934 to Charles Wayne & Elsie (Waltz) Bunnell. On December 17, 1963 she married William R. Findling and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2004.

She was a farmer, retiring in 1989. Eileen was a member of Indiana Farm Bureau and the National Rifle Association. She had attended Windfall United Methodist Church, participated in the Tipton County 4-H program, and was active in the Windfall Alumni Association. Eileen attended school in Windfall.

She is survived by four daughters, Sandra M. Roach, New Orleans, Louisiana, Bonita J. Ramirez and husband Ed Armantrout, Yorktown, Debora J. Ratliff and husband Dennis, Pelham, Alabama, Terri A. Stout and husband Allen, Elwood; two sons, William R. Findling II, Crandall, Texas, James A. Findling and wife Donna, Alabaster, Alabama; one brother, Terry W. Bunnell, Anderson; two sisters-in-law, Jean Plummer, Windfall, Paulette Stewart, Pembroke, Kentucky.

Eileen is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Jeffrey Roach, Shannon Entrekin, David Shaw, Raquel Ray, Elecia Armantrout, Kyle Jester, Christopher A. Stout, Nathan R. Stout, Jennifer M. Stout, Jacob Moody, Vickie Pierson, Joe Findling, Cindy Frank, Patti Desmoin, Barbara Humphrey and Susan Schroeder; 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son Michael Wayne Richards, a daughter Constance E. Findling Shaw and a granddaughter Cassandra Jo McCool.

Eileen's funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 19 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Harlow presiding. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home.

Words cannot express the appreciation we have for the care and compassion shown Eileen by the staff of Century Villa Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Greentown these last two years.
